As an aspiring entrepreneur/artist/musician/freedom-fighter, you’ll find the greatest enemy to your success is very rarely your competitors, the economy, your employees, your sales people, or something else. It is almost always yourself. We constantly do things to sabotage ourselves, to push ourselves farther from our goals, and to turn people away from our business or project. Of course, many of these things we do unknowingly.
Personally, I have fallen into many of the pitfalls listed in this article. When I was younger, I often got frustrated, blamed, or made excuses for why I didn’t make the business, personal, or relationship progress that I desired. It’s always interesting just how simple it is to reflect on ourselves post-sabotage. Hindsight truly is 20/20.
