May, 2014 – Dallas, Texas – Jon’s Wedding

jon's wedding

jonweddingHad an absolute blast in Dallas recently at my dear friends, Jon & Jaissie’s, wedding.  It was, undoubtedly, a crazy weekend.  With arrests (not me), fleeing attackers (me),  riding home in police cars (me), alcohol searches on Sundays with Jorge to calm Jon down, delicious food, attempting to dance with a mariachi band, taking pictures with the Most Interesting Man in the World at a random 7-11 I ducked into to evade the aforementioned attackers…and the list goes on.

What I loved most about this weekend, though, was reflecting on how the most random introductions can turn into friends that stand the test of time.  I started a small business project with Jonathan’s piano and voice teacher about 4 years ago, was introduced to him 3 years ago, built a relationship over that time, and now today was honored to stand beside him as he wed his true love.  Life is so random, wonderful, and exciting.  You need to pay attention or you might miss it.

Can’t wait to see how Mr. and Mrs. Castillo christen their new marriage (hint).  Congrats you two 🙂
