Of all the cities I’ve frequented in the past 10-15 years, I don’t think I’ve visited many more than Dallas/Ft. Worth. I had a huge hub of business there for a good while, and as a result, some of the best friends I’d ever made. One of those great friends was this young guy, Garrett Long. Garrett is one of those once in a lifetime minds who was already an entrepreneur at age 15, so we obviously hit it off quickly.
Fast forward 5 years, he’s getting married, and I was lucky enough to be one of the groomsmen. We had a great time enjoying some beverages, a Mavs game, and donuts.
I’ll not do a full review of Dallas here since this trip was mainly for Garrett, but let me give a few must-do’s.
Must-Do Beer: Revolver Blood & Honey
Must-Do Coffee Shop: Drugstore Cowboy
Since good local coffee and beer are my main priorities in any new city, I’ll leave it there.
