June, 2014 – Salzburg, Germany

Salzburg is famous for being the locale where “The Sound of Music” was filmed back during the World War II days.  Beyond that, it is also famous for being Mozart’s birthplace, which they attempt to milk consistently and regularly in this city to get you to spend more money (but I digress).  Salzburg wasn’t as charming as I was hoping for, but if you dig a little bit you can find where the locals hang out, at which point it becomes totally – and yes I am going to say it – adorable.   With that said, the most adorable thing that probably happened was going over this bridge where people get locks with their significant others, put their initials on them, and lock them to the fence on the bridge.  So, if you ever go the love lock bridge in Salzburg, if you’re walking toward the castle – Ali’s and my little lock is right near the light on the right side.  Check it out.
