Today was my first time ever visiting Spain, a country I’d been dying to visit for my entire adult life.
To start, I explored a few country towns outside of Palamos, and they didn’t disappoint. From vineyards, to ancient libraries, to castles, it was a special trip. I love the culture in Spain.
The majority of our time was spent at the Paralda Castle and surrounding areas, including vineyards and museums. We loved the trip out there, an hour or so drive through scenic Costa Brava.
My most memorable moment was in an ancient library, filled with original copies of Don Quixote. Unbelievable to see such preserved texts in person.
To end the day, as was the end to most days, was a wine tasting from the local vineyard and sampled the local vintages. Tomorrow I finally visit Barcelona, Spain – a city I’ve always been dying to visit, and my last day on this European adventure.
