Wrapping up a beautiful trip to Miami today. Spent the first 5 days in South Beach, and concluding the trip with 3 days here in Biscayne Bay at the Ritz Carlton. I love Miami, and try to get here 2-3 times per year. Finally starting to lock down some local food spots, like Alma Mexicana in South Beach, or “Sports Grill” in Coral Cables (best.wings. ever. Most generic name in history. Shame too, because they destroy Buffalo Wild Wings.)
Enjoyed a night out at Mansion in South Beach last Saturday, and though as many of you know I am not a professional dancer, it’s always fun to go with people who love it. They just bounce around and lose themselves, and it’s exciting to see people in your life (like my girlfriend) that are amazing at dancing. I am committed to becoming more functional on the dance floor one of these days. One of these days.
Played some killer beach volleyball yesterday. I feel my volleyballs skills are underrated and I like to think people that pick me for their team are pleasantly surprised by my most excellent bump…set…and semi-spike (if I stretch).
Frankly, though I love vacation (considering this is my 3rd week of vacation in 4 weeks as I was in Europe for the first 2 weeks of the month), I am ready to get back, get to work, and get to hustle mode. Hustle season is in full swing, and cannot wait to put boots to the ground on some of the new (and old) projects I am working on.
