You don’t know everything, and that rocks. This is obviously contrary to what we are taught, considering we live in a society that embarrasses and humiliates people for feeling “stupid” or “wrong”. If people are afraid of messing up, how will we ever learn anything new? We won’t.
I meet so many people that seem frustrated. They feel like they followed the rules, did what they were told, and the red carpet that was promised to them was never rolled out. I know the feeling. I’ve been there. I felt that way when I was 18 years old: that I was doing everything right, but that I wasn’t fulfilled. And because growing up we are taught that the one perspective we learned was the only option, we get angry and frustrated that we “know everything” and we don’t “have everything”. This couldn’t be further from the truth.
